The Mennonite Hospital Association (MHA) dates to 1919. The members of the MHA were churches of various denominations located in Central Illinois. The MHA grew from a twelve-room sanitarium to an organization comprised of two hospitals (Eureka and Mennonite), a pastoral services institute, a wellness center, a home health services program, a college of nursing, a foundation, and a management organization. The management organization facilitated the sharing of services which were available to all other health care facilities and providers in the area.

The collection contains constitutions and bylaws, a delegate handbook, news releases, annual reports, annual meeting material, board of trustee minutes, correspondence, auditor reports, financial statements, and social event and health care material.
