Although the collection donated to the Museum provides limited information, the Ramsey family lived in Hudson and its surrounding rural area, eight miles north of Normal, from the mid-nineteenth century well into the twentieth.
The Ramsey collection is a compilation of documents kept by the Ramsey family that resided in the Hudson, Illinois, area.
The materials, organized in one box, date from 1871 to 1947. Collection includes biographical information, obituaries from The Hudson Colony, religious programs, greeting cards, property tax receipts, a death announcement, and more.
