The Occupational Development Center (ODC) provided employment and training for individuals with disabilities or vocational barriers and was incorporated as a non-profit sheltered worship in 1965. Originally known as McLean County Workshop, the operation became a United Way agency in 1966, and by 1967 had a board of directors and two staff members. In 1969, the board of directors changed the name to The Occupational Development Center. ODC ceased operations and services on August 1, 2009, due to reduced state budget funding.

The collection includes pamphlets, annual reports, award banquet programs, fundraiser programs, and news articles.
