Loyal Star of America is a women’s auxiliary to the Brotherhood Railway Carmen of America. Their aim was to promote the union, provide support to afflicted carmen and their families, and promote social interest, education, and morality. Prairie State Lodge No. 45 was the Bloomington, IL Chapter of Loyal Star. The collection includes constitutions, by-laws, rituals, membership applications, Secretary Treasurer financial receipts, and a list of members for Loyal Star of America Prairie State Local No. 45.
