Born in Peoria in 1909, Elizabeth “Betty” Hinckle grew up in Peoria and later in Bloomington. Her mother Imogen “Imo” Evans Hinckle was the only child of well-to-do grocer William L. Evans.
This collection includes biographies of Betty’s ancestors and other family members, newspaper articles, personal correspondence from friends (especially her senior year of high school) and relatives, calling cards, etc.
