In 1973, the first Bloomington Corvette Corral event took place. By 1977, the Bloomington Corvette Corral had grown to be the biggest Corvette event in the country, with people attending from across the nation and around the world. Renamed Bloomington Gold, the event continued in Bloomington for nineteen years. It relocated to Springfield and St. Charles, then Champaign. Bloomington Gold Corvettes, now held at the Indianapolis, IN Motor Speedway, is the longest running all-Corvette event in the country, attended by more than 30,000 people over three days annually.
The collection consists of program guides, registration brochures, and one newsletter.
