Santa No Replacement for Mama Downtown Bloomington, December 4, 1948

Santa arrived by train to Bloomington on December 4, 1948, and spent much of the day greeting children in his specially erected hut on the McLean County Courthouse Square. Sometime during the day this unidentified little girl became separated from her mother, and not even dear old Santa could calm her down.
