Sembrando Raíces: Oral Histories of Latinos in Central Illinois
Illinois State University seniors in Dr. Maura Toro-Morn's sociology capstone class conducted oral history interviews with Latinx members of the Bloomington-Normal community. In this presentation they share their research findings and stories from their interviewees about laying roots in the heartland.
The presenting students are: Ta’Marra Anderson, Daniela Bernal, Marisa Bresnahan, Olivia Brucato, Chris Cajka, Jenny Le, Krista Lemaire, Christion Lloyd, Megan Lowe, Mariana Munoz, Daniela Nungaray, Sebastian Sancen, Taniyah Tunstill, and Austin Wilson.
