“The Flying LaVans” Fred Green (1858-1897) and Harry Green (1867-1952) These brothers formed a trapeze act that had its beginnings using makeshift rigging in their father’s barn, the act that eventually grew to international renown. They became one of the greatest aerial acts in the world at the end of the 19th century, thrilling audiences with their famous passing somersaults.
