Join the McLean County Museum of History and Bloomington bread author Jack Keefe for a brief presentation, Q&A, and book signing for his new book, "Echoes of Purple and Gold" on Saturday, February 11th at 2:00 pm in the Museum's Courtroom and streaming via the Museum's Youtube channel. Keefe attended Bloomington High School and went on to have a successful journalism career in television and radio. He also wrote a daily column in the Pantagraph "How Time Flies" for fifteen years. The book has been described as "a gripping work in which the author stacks local history like cordwood, telling forgotten tales and making odd connections that people no longer suspect." Copies of the book will be available for purchase in the Museum's Cruisin' with Lincoln on 66 Visitors Center and Gift Shop. A book signing will immediately follow the program.
