The International Harvester Company manufactured agricultural and construction equipment, automobiles, trucks, lawn and garden products, etc. It was formed in 1902 by merging McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and Deering Harvester Company plus three smaller manufacturers: Milwaukee; Plano; and Warder, Bushnell, and Glessner. The Chicago-headquartered company branded its products as “McCormick-Deering” for many years after the merger and introduced the “Farmall” brand in 1924. In the 1980s, most of the company’s divisions were sold off with the agriculture division sold to Tenneco’s subsidiary Case.

The collection includes 1930s catalogs and brochures for International Harvester Company farming equipment plus one 1935 product manual.
