Garst, Elmer Record Book

A grocer and amateur historian from Stanford, Elmer Garst compiled information about local births and deaths, ministers of local churches, railroad station agents, automobile accident deaths, dates of construction of local buildings, etc. The collection includes Garst’s record book, transcriptions of its contents, and articles about his endeavors.
