On September 11, 2001 a series of four coordinated attacks changed the course of American life forever. Almost 3,000 lives were lost and over 6,000 people were injured. Countless first responders and survivors continue to live with the long-term health impacts of the attacks.
The collection includes a copy of President George W. Bush’s address to the nation, responses to the event in Bloomington/Normal, materials from the WJBC and ISU memorial service, photographs, World Trade Center postcards, news magazines from 9/10/2001 – 1/3/2002 and miscellaneous materials.
