Come get your hands dirty and dig up some fun! During this Mini-Camp, participants will spend their first day learning about archaeology and doing their own archaeological dig. On the second day, participants will learn how artifacts are studied after being found and how to find information within material culture.
Futures in History: Adventures in Archaeology will take place Tuesday, July 16 and Thursday, July 18 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Registration is open to students entering 5th, 6th, and 7th grades who are eager to explore the many futures a career in history can offer.
Futures in History Mini Camps each have a $75 registration fee. Households get a discounted price for each additional camper registered.
If your household income is less than $36,000 a year, your camper(s) will qualify for a scholarship to waive the registration fee.
Registration is limited to 15 students per camp. Click here to register.
