Snowbound Illinois Central Northeast of Fletcher, February 1908

A heavy snowfall in February 1908 put a halt to this steam locomotive somewhere between Merna and Fletcher, two tiny communities in eastern McLean County along the Illinois Central Railroad’s “Bloomer Line.”
And you think digging out your driveway is hard work!
