Art Floyd displays his mounted license plate collection from his garage in the Dale Township hamlet of Covell, mid-August 1958.Floyd was a local fastpitch softball legend, having served as announcer at Bloomington’s O’Neil park since 1948. He passed away in October 1988, two days after he turned 88.
