Kick off a weekend of fun by joining us to celebrate the installation of Herb Eaton's Star Crossed Pollinators sculpture on the Museum Square during the First Friday festivities in Downtown Bloomington on Friday, May 2 at 5 p.m. The Museum will be open late and offer free admission until 8 p.m. PLUS, we'll have FREE popcorn from Donny B's until we run out.
This 10 ft. fiber glass corn sculpture, initially created for Bloomington's Sesquicentennial celebration in 2000, recently underwent restoration thanks to a Creative Catalyst Grant from the Illinois Arts Council. We're excited to unveil this creation and kick off our Sculpture on the Square initiative.
