Bring your lunch and join us to learn more about air from Dr. Alicia Wodika, Associate Professor of Health Sciences at Illinois State University, and the Bloomington-Normal Community Air Research & Education (BN-CARE) project on Thursday, January 9, from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m.
BN-CARE brings together local partners who are committed to helping the community understand how air quality impacts our health. Working collaboratively, the project’s goals are to improve air quality, reduce exposure to pollutants, and increase public awareness of pollution’s health effects. The Ecology Action Center, with support from EPA grant funding, installed three air quality monitors across Bloomington-Normal, offering real-time data to help track and address local air quality concerns.
The Museum's Lunch & Learn series is made possible with the support of our presenting sponsor, MCK CPAs & Advisors. This series provides unique learning opportunities every second Thursday of the month over the lunch hour (12:10-1:00 p.m.) in person and live via youtube.com/mchistorymuseum.
Save the dates in your calendars for the next three Lunch & Learns on February 13, March 13, and April 10.
