Bring your lunch and join us to learn what's new at Miller Park Zoo on Thursday, October 10, from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. with Director Jay Pratte. He will share an overview of Miller Park Zoo's history, animals, and what's next for the most historic Zoo on Route 66.
Pratte has been fascinated with zoos and has loved animals since childhood. Through his work, he hopes to instill that same passion in the visitors who come to Miller Park Zoo.
Pratte has been at Miller Park Zoo since 2022. He has over 30 years of experience working in zoos and caring for animals, having worked at the Dallas Zoo, Zoo Atlanta, Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium in Omaha, Nebraska, and the Utica Zoo in New York.
The Museum's Lunch & Learn series is made possible with the support of our presenting sponsor, MCK CPAs & Advisors. This series provides unique learning opportunities every second Thursday of the month over the lunch hour (12:10-1:00 p.m.) in person and live via youtube.com/mchistorymuseum.
Save the date in your calendars for the rest of the 2024 season: November 14 and December 12. Plus, there will be an extra special election edition Lunch & Learn on October 18 with Dr. Andrew Hartman.
