Bring your lunch and join us to learn about how the Illinois Stewardship Alliance has been working to organize farmers and eaters to foster a more just and regenerative food system Thursday, April 10, from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. with farmer and community organizer Jeff Haake.

Haake will discuss some of the unique challenges of the small farm he operates along with his wife and her brother, and how that translates into policy advocacy and organizing at the state level. As a policy organizer for Illinois Stewardship Alliance, Haake will especially discuss the Alliance's theory of change and their strategy for organizing farmers and eaters to foster a more just and regenerative food system.
