Bring your lunch and join us to learn about sensory gardens with U of I Extension educator Brittnay Haag on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 12:10 p.m.
The Museum's Lunch & Learn series is made possible with the support of our presenting sponsor, MCK Advisors. This series provides unique learning opportunities every second Thursday of the month over the lunch hour (12:10-12:50 p.m.) from January through May and September through December, in person and live via youtube.com/mchistorymuseum.
Future 2024 Lunch & Learns will occur on May 9, September 12, October 10, November 7, and December 12.
For this April's Lunch & Learn, U of I Extension educator Brittnay Haag will share information on plants that engage the power of your senses to create an immersive nature experience and elevate your garden's sensory environment.
Raised on a grain farm in McLean County, Brittnay earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agriculture and Horticulture from Illinois State University. She now serves Livingston, McLean, and Woodford Counties as a Horticulture Educator for the U of I Extension. Her work focuses on youth education and community programming.
