The Museum, in partnership with pt.fwd, is excited to host composer and musician Josh Henderson for his "One More Night" performance. This free concert will be at the Museum in the second-floor courtroom on Tuesday, April 23, at 7:00 p.m.
"One More Night" is a musical odyssey that takes the audience from the Blues to experimental Opera to Punk Rock with metaphysical pit stops to explore this grand journey of life that we're all on together. Multi-instrumentalist Josh Henderson is joined by an All-Star band featuring Sylver Wallace (Voice), Caroline Davis (Alto Sax), Brendon Randall-Myers (Electric Guitar), Rick Martinez (Drums), and The Desdemona String Quartet to create this tour de force evening performance.
pt.fwd is an independent, artist-run 501c3 non-profit that organizes contemporary music and sonic arts performances in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. Their mission is to celebrate the communal experience of coming together to listen to powerful new sonic art. In partnership with the McLean County Museum of History, pt.fwd promotes new work by local and regional artists in a historic, acoustically curious setting. All pt.fwd concerts are free and open to the public.
