Join Bill Kemp, the Museum's librarian, for stories and images of how local residents celebrated the winter holidays from the pioneer era through the mid-20th century. Learn how the German community helped popularize many Christmas traditions and travel back to a time when downtown Bloomington was a retail wonderland. See special show-and-tell items from the museum’s archives that bring these holiday memories to life.
The program will be held on Monday, December 7 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Astroth Community Education Center at Heartland Community College. Registration is limited to 50 people and can be made by clicking here.
