The Museum will be FREE all day on Friday, February 21, and Saturday, February 22, for Wellness Weekend, organized by the newly formed Bloomington-Normal Envisioning Justice Hub.
In addition to free admission, the McLean County Museum of History will feature a temporary display exploring the history of mass incarceration in McLean County and a craft activity on the third floor.
Envisioning Justice, a project of Illinois Humanities, uses the arts and humanities to explore mass incarceration and shape a more just future. Since 2017, it has partnered with communities affected by the carceral system, offering free public programs and grant funding for individuals, nonprofits, and collectives.
