Join the McLean County Museum of History and the McLean County Arts Center for the first installment of Crafting History: Remembering Rag Rugs on Wednesday, April 19th, at 6 PM. This hands-on virtual program will be hosted via Zoom and will utilize free take-and-make craft kits.
Krystal Lyon, Cheona-based artist, and MCAC Education Coordinator, will lead participants through the basics of weaving scrap fabric together to make rugs and coasters. Participants will end the program with a finished coaster.
The take-and-make kits will be available in the Museum's Visitors Center during operating hours beginning on April 10th. Questions? Email mmears@mchistory.org.
