Claire Rousay is based in Los Angeles. Her music zeroes in on personal emotions and the minutiae of everyday life -- voicemails, haptics, environmental recordings, stopwatches, whispers and conversations -- exploding their significance. Rousay will perform new compositions drawn from the everyday encounters that weave our human experience together.
"What a songwriter might convey in poetry, Rousay evokes with raw audio...In a world of endless distraction, Rousay’s is an art of paying attention." - New York Times
