Join the Museum on Friday AND Saturday for free, festive fun during Christmas Under the Dome!

Friday, December 6, we'll be open to all until 8 p.m. for the Downtown Bloomington Once Upon a Holiday First Friday festivities with:

  • Adult eggnog and hot cocoa

  • Live music by Marcos Mendez

  • Model train display

  • Festive photo op

  • Live window display featuring vintage Christmas decor

Saturday, following the Jaycee's Annual Christmas Parade, we'll be open and free from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with: 

  • Santa

  • Live music from community choral groups

  • Illinois Art Station Pop-Up for all ages

  • Festive photo op

  • Model trains

  • Cookies and hot cocoa 

The live music lineup on Saturday kicks off with community choir Cantus Novus at 11 a.m., followed by Sue Miller and the Wind Song ensemble at 11:45 a.m., Loving Missionary Choir at 12:30 a.m., and Sounds of Illinois Chorus at 1:15 p.m.
