{ "name":"Downtown Bloomington Architecture Tour with Candace Summers", "description":"

By popular demand, we have added a second downtown Bloomington architecture tour! Join Candace Summers, Senior Director of Education, for a walking tour to explore historic Downtown Bloomington on Thursday, August 28 at 5:30pm.

This tour will highlight the architectural styles of several standing buildings and the architects who built them. Additionally, we will feature a few buildings lost to the wrecking ball over time and discuss the adaptive reuse of other historic buildings to continue to meet our community's evolving needs.

Tickets are $10 for the General Public and $8 for Museum Members. Participation is limited to 30 people. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.

Please note that we will walk approximately one mile over a 1.5-hour period, standing and stopping between various sites. The tour will begin and end at the Museum. Participants should meet outside the Museum's main entrance on Washington Street approximately 15 minutes before tour time. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. We also encourage you to bring bottled water.
