Back 2 School Supply Drive – We Need your Help!
From July 1 through August 1, 2025, the Museum will participate in the Back 2 School Alliance School Supply Drive to collect school supplies for local students in need for the 2025-2026 school year.
The Back 2 School Alliance will distribute the collected supplies to students throughout District 87 and Unit 5 who meet eligibility guidelines.
Bring in any new school supplies from the list below, and each person in your party who brings in at least one item will receive free admission to the Museum on the day you donate!
Backpacks - 13 to 18 inches in height
Zippered Binders - 1.5 or 2 inches
3-Ring Binders - Five 1.5-inch Divider Tabs
2-Pocket Folders
Index Cards - 3x5, lined
Loose Leaf Paper - wide ruled
Spiral Notebooks - wide ruled, 70-count pages
Rulers - standard/metric 12 inches
Colored Pencils - 12 count
Markers - washable, thick, classic colors #2 Pencils- 12 count
Black or Blue Pens - 10 or 12-count packages
Washable Glue Sticks
Crayons - 24-count
Highlighters
Fiskar Scissors (blunt and pointed tip)
Pink Erasers
The donation bin to drop off your items will be located on the ground floor of the Museum in the Cruisin’ with Lincoln on 66 Visitors Center & Gift Shop.
Please consider donating -- every pen, pencil, binder, and notebook donated helps support our local teachers and students by equipping them with the tools they need for the new school year!
