Vic and Sade was a radio show (1932 – 1945) and short lived television show (1957) created by Paul Rhymer (1905 – 1964) in 1932 while working at National Broadcasting in Chicago. The characters were based on people Rhymer knew when growing up in Bloomington. Paul Rhymer attended Bloomington High School and Illinois Wesleyan University. He briefly worked at the Pantagraph before going to Chicago.
