Downtown Bloomington Survey

In 1984 Greg Koos and William Walters began the work of obtaining National Historic standing for the Bloomington Downtown Area. Their work resulted in the Bloomington Downtown Historic District being placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The collection includes the materials compiled in support of the application for National Historic District standing for Downtown Bloomington, including the nomination form, historical research, correspondence and miscellaneous records involved in the work. It includes two drafts of a city history of 56 pages.
