On March 21, at 7:00 p.m., the meeting of the McLean County Genealogical Society will be held in the Gov. Fifer Courtroom at the McLean County Museum of History, 200 North Main Street, in Bloomington.
“Find a Grave: How to use the program”, is the topic for the evening. Anthony “Tony” Cannon always has his camera ready and will traverse any ground, wet or dry, that may appear to be a cemetery. He has photographed thousands of cemetery gravestones. They are entered into the Find a Graves series across the nation. Many a happy researcher has discovered vital information on an ancestor via this website. Mr. Cannon will speak to the Society about the use of the site and answer questions. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. For more information call Eleanor Mede at 309-4542688.
